The KB (Kick Butt)Tough Run is an approx. 3 mile trail run through the canyons, valleys, creeks and pastures of White Pines Ranch. This is not your typical 5K run. This event is the major fundraiser for the KB Fund. The fund was established to support those burdened by the expenses of a medical crisis.

KB Tough Run
Don’t let the beautiful surroundings of this off-road race catch you off guard. The run travels through beautiful canyons, valleys and lush green pastures that are sure to give you a challenge. The course also has optional obstacles along the way. Bibs are chipped for accurate timing.
Trail Hike
Not a runner? That’s okay. Join us for the trail hike showcasing the beautiful property of the White Pines Ranch. The hike is shorter than the Tough Run route but still not stroller friendly. Please leave pets at home.
Kid Sprint
This is a special sprint for our youngest Tough Runners with age appropriate obstacles for kids 9 years and under. The sprint will start after the Tough Run and Trail Hike at 10:30am.

The day’s festivities that will include the 3 Mile Tough Run, the Trail Hike, Kid's Sprint, as well as Pork Chop Sandwiches by Ogle County Pork Producers, music, kid’s zone activities, craft beer by Prairie Street Brewing Co. & several fundraising games.

Awards
Awards will be given to the top finishers of the Tough Run: Adult Female (18+), Adult Male (18+), Female 14-17, Male 14-17, Female 13 & under, Male 13 & under and Team Challenge.
